Previous Name: Buffy Summers
Myth: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Past Life Information: Buffy was a popular, bubbly 15 year old girl. And then, one afternoon, her destiny was revealed to her: she was the Slayer, the one girl in all the world given the powers to stand against the vampires, the demons, and the forces of darkness. It... has been a lot. She burned down her high school gym in LA and hoped to start over in Sunnydale, but her destiny -- a new Watcher -- was there waiting for her. She found friends for life in classmates Willow and Xander, fell in love with a vampire named Angel (he had a soul -- until he didn't) and died. Twice. She has fought countless evil forces, including lovers, wannabe stepdads, other Slayers (Buffy's early death sparked a new Slayer -- passing the line to Kendra and then Faith) her best friend Willow, and a god who wanted to destroy her sister (sure, her sister is an important piece of mystical energy refashioned into a human, but she's still Buffy's sister). Buffy watched her mother, her friends, and far too many people die. Finally, when facing down the First Evil, she was able to shatter the far-reaching bonds of her calling. Thanks to Buffy and her friends, now every person identified with the potential to be the Slayer has the power to be the Slayer. She no longer has to stand alone. Maybe, just maybe, she now can be a regular girl again.
Current Name: Carrie Davidson
Age: 28
Occupation: Student and skating coach
Personality: Carrie loves fashion, dancing, ice skating, and lying in the park for hours with friends or even just alone, looking at the clouds. For as long as she can remember, Carrie has felt like she needs freedom to be herself and to enjoy her life. This makes her independent to a fault -- and sometimes to her detriment -- but it also means that she genuinely believes in things like being kind to yourself. She's smart but doesn't quite know it, creative but not really using that gift to her full potential, and she might still have a beloved stuffed animal on her bed even now but just try and stop her. She holds onto what makes her feel good; she avoids what makes her feel bad. She wants to travel.
Background: Carrie's parents have spoiled her just a little bit. She grew up in New Orleans taking gymnastics lessons, ballet lessons, figure skating, horse riding... and she learned the excitement of trying new things. She still holds onto that, and even though she's not really sure what she wants to do with her life -- she's majoring in history at Tulane, which she only decided to do like a year ago -- she does love her job teaching figure skating to kids, and she sort of feels like maybe it's okay that she doesn't have all the answers yet. And no one better try to answer that question for her.
